A level results Thursday 13th August - Arrangements
(Posted on 10/08/20)Just a short reminder of our arrangements for the A level results this Thursday. We would love it to be the same as it has been in previous years but the following is the best we can do.
Firstly, and I hope obviously, no students with Covid symptoms or who have been asked to self isolate by “track and trace” should come to school to collect their results. The students should email the addresses below and we will arrange for you to get your results a different way.
Parking will be available in the main staff car park with overspill in the bus bay. Students only (no parents / siblings / friends) should enter the school by the main entrance (main hall not the sports hall). On entry students must hand sanitise and keep 2 meters from other students and staff. The results will be available in the main hall, once collected students should use the side exit of the hall before opening their envelope. Once outside if students would like to discuss any aspect of their results, staff will be available in the canteen. Students should access this from the outside door (by the side exit to the hall). Once results are collected students should return to their cars via the outside route.
2m distance should be maintained between all, results envelopes should not be passed between students.
Students may wear a facemask if they wish.
Students should NOT collect results on behalf of another unless a signed letter is brought and shown to a staff member.
If once you have left the building you have a query please do not hesitate to email penny.ellwood@maelorschool.org.uk or simon.ellis@maelorschool.org.uk
