(Posted on 16/10/12)Lesotho Link Grows Stronger - October 2012 Maelor School pupils and staff welcomed visitors this October from their Partnership School, St Saviour's in Lesotho. Six pupils and two staff took part in daily school life for a week enjoying lessons and school activities they had not experienced before such as swimming in our indoor pool. Fantastic GCSE Results
(Posted on 23/08/12)Pupils at The Maelor School, Penley, were celebrating as they received their GCSE results this year. For the second year running more than 90% of pupils achieved five A*-C grades. Headteacher Mr Simon Ellis said "These results are superb, for 93% of our pupils to get five or more GCSE grades at A*-C is a remarkable achievement. Record A Level Results
(Posted on 17/08/12)Students and Staff at The Maelor School, Penley were celebrating after their sixth formers broke all previous A level records with this years results. 86% of A Levels were passed at Grades A*-C 99% were passed at A-E. 46% of A levels taken were passed at A* or A grades.
